Comedy Caravan Fundraiser

Tomorrow is the VIPS/Comedy Caravan fundraiser. I hope we have a good turnout. It looks like we sold about 48 tickets - that's good! We're haivng salad & pizza for dinner (Bearno's - yum!) and an assortment of small desserts. The comedian is Pat Brown. I haen't ever yeard of her, but I can't say I've ever seen a bad comedian at Comedy Caravan. Tom Sobel (owner of Comedy Caravan) is very kind to let us have this fundraiser there. This is probably the 5th or 6th time we've done this. Kudos to Tom!

The proceeds from tomorrow night go directly to the VIPS Family Retreat. This is a great weekend opportunity for our families to share experiences with each other, learn from experts in the vision field and have a nice relaxing time. The retreat is quite expensive to host, but so worth every penny. It's going to be a great weekend! I hope some of our parents who plan to attend retreat come to the fundraiser tomorrow to support VIPS. We really rely on support from our parents and we have several who have been very involved for a long time.
